Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time and part-time positions across multiple shifts. Compensation ranges from $38 to $43 per hour, with differential pay for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Weekly pay is provided, with opportunities for career advancement. As an LPN, you will deliver direct nursing care under RN supervision, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• CPR certification required.
• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in this state or in the process of obtaining one.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant.
• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Maintain current resident care plans.
• Follow physician's orders.
• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately.
• Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
• Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.
• Maintain awareness of residents on alert list.
• Document and report any unusual findings; contact the physician when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Shift: Openings on all shifts, including an every other weekend rotation

Compensation: $38 - $43 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Weekly pay

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program

• Must be CPR certified

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state, or be in the process of obtaining one

• Minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility (new graduates welcome!)

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
