Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Duluth, MN. This role offers control over your schedule and assignments, with a path that supports work-life balance in a healthcare staffing environment.

As part of the team, you will work with RNs, physicians and aides to deliver quality patient care across facilities, hospitals, and schools, while following physician orders and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• MN LPN license in good standing required.
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a medical facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in facilities under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Take patient vitals, perform assessments, document progress and report changes to RN.
• Assist RN in carrying out physician’s orders, patient care and prescribed treatments.
• Administer medications, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals and schools-under the supervision of an RN
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
