Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Ashton at Mayfield Heights in Cleveland, OH is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our care team. You will oversee day-to-day nursing assistant activities, administer medications, and report on resident care during shifts.

Qualified applicants have at least 1 year of nursing experience and hold a current LPN license in good standing. We offer competitive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Must be licensed as an LPN and maintain current licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required.
