Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Ashton at Mayfield Heights in Cleveland, OH is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a flexible shift role. You can choose shifts that fit your schedule, with access to a user-friendly app to view and accept available opportunities.

You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, report shift activities, ensure medication supplies, and coordinate with pharmacies as needed. A minimum of one year of experience and an active LPN license are required.

As a Shift Team employee, you will have the ability to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at multiple communities within the Ohio market and will have the accessibility to pick up shifts according to your availability. This position will have the flexibility to work up to 29 hours per week.

LPN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
