Job summary

Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. You will administer medications, monitor Residents' health, assist with daily living activities, and support CNAs.

We offer a base hourly rate of $34–$36 with an evening shift differential of $1.25 and weekend differential of $0.40, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Daily Pay is available to access earnings promptly.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid NY State LPN license in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong patient-care and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Record health details of Residents, including vitals & temperature.
• Administer medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores.
• May supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Assist Residents with dressing and personal hygiene.
• Monitor Residents' food and liquid intake and output.

Duties:

• Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted

• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature

• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed

• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed

• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene

• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output

Requirements:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Valid NY State LPN license

• In good standing with State Registry
