Job summary

Forest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catonsville, MD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for the full-time day shift. You will work with a cohesive nursing team to deliver compassionate patient care, perform assessments, and document observations in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN license, has 1+ year of long-term care experience, and demonstrates reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license in good standing with the state.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents requiring care; collect patient data and report pertinent information to the care team.
• Work under supervision using the state Nurse Practice Act and nursing judgment; document observations.
• Direct and supervise care given by nursing staff as needed.

Working in harmony with the entire nursing staff, the Licensed Practical Nurse strives to provide the very best care possible. If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse with a true passion for patient care and compassion for others, with a commitment to teamwork,

USD $32.00 - USD $37.00 /Hr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

• Works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment.
• Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients requiring care, collecting patient data, making observations and reporting pertinent information to the care of patients.
• Will also direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed.
• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation required
