Job summary

State of Colorado's Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle is seeking a licensed practical nurse for night shifts (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) on Thu, Fri, Sat. You will perform admissions and daily assessments with RN oversight, document care, and follow all policies to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include administering medications, updating treatment plans, and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to effectively communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions and daily assessments with RN oversight.
• Document care and treatment provided to residents.
• Administer medications following the five rights of safe administration.
• Directs and coordinates nursing care to ensure compliance with standards.
