Job summary

Halifax Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Hospice field team. You will provide direct patient care to hospice patients across multiple settings under the supervision of an RN, with scheduling including nights, days, weekends, and holidays to ensure around-the-clock care.

Requirements include a Florida LPN license, BLS and IV certification, good driving record, and at least 1 year in Medical-Surgical Nursing; hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida LPN license.
• BLS and IV certification required per department.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing; Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to hospice patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assign to days, nights, weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Adhere to Hospice Halifax Health nursing protocols and driving requirements.
