Sentara Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for home health in South Boston, VA, working third shift (12AM-8AM) on a part-time basis. The role requires a VA LPN license, BLS within 90 days, and at least two years of experience, with hospice experience strongly preferred. Travel up to 50 miles may be involved.

Overview: Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a home health care setting is responsible for providing direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and offering essential support to patients with various medical needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, is required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that improves patient well-being.

Anticipated Status/Shift: Part-Time (24 hours/week) Night Shift (12AM-8AM)

Position Location: Sentara Hospice Services - South Boston, VA (travel can include up to a 50-mile radius for position)

Position Requirements

• Education Trade School Graduate for Nursing (Required)
• Certification/Licensure LPN License in state of practice (VA) (Required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days)
• Experience 2 years' experience (Required)
• Prior hospice experience (Strongly preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $28.57 - $43.04 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
