Job summary

Lone Star Circle of Care in Austin, TX is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our community-focused team. This role supports licensed medical staff during examinations, performs blood draws, and documents histories and findings in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

We offer a starting pay of $24 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm, and opportunities for continuing education and professional growth while delivering high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas LVN license.
• Previous nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, evaluate, and document patient histories.
• Assist licensed medical staff and/or Registered Nurses during patient examinations.
• Draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as needed.
• Receive and document STAT calls from Quest and ARA and communicate results to providers.
• Complete data entry within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, including lab results, hemoglobin, and lead screenings.
• Coordinate authorizations and identify in-network service providers for speech, occupational, and physical therapy referrals.
