Brooks Rehabilitation in Florida seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform nursing functions under RN supervision. The role involves administering medications, basic nursing care for rehab patients, and supporting care planning within policy and state law.

The LPN collaborates with the RN, observes patient conditions, records vital signs, and participates in on-call rotations while ensuring a safe, compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Florida LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• IV Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Documents observations and care according to company policies and procedures.

• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients.

DescriptionLocation Overview: Home HealthPosition Summary : A Licensed Practical nurse performs nursing functions under the direction of a registered nurse, follows the plans of care, participates in care planning, and performs nursing actions in accord with company policy and state law.Job Responsibilities:Documents observations and care given in accord with company process according to company policies and procedures. Administers medications.Administers basic nursing care measure to the rehab patient and assists in giving care to the acutely ill rehab patient relative to patient age, developmental needs, and understanding.Admits, transfers, and discharges patients.
