Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an LPN to join our northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin clinics. The role includes patient rooming, data collection, and charting; you will assist with examinations, treatments, and nursing interventions as directed.

The position requires LPN licensure or RN ladder option for Wisconsin, CPR/BLS certification within 90 days, and prior clinical experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• LPN graduates with state license or equivalent RN ladder option in IL/WI.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days is required.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and collects assessment data.
• Assists in examination, treatment and clinic procedures.
• Performs EKGs and basic lab tests as needed.
• Venipuncture to collect blood specimens.
• Administers injections and medications as ordered.
• Documents in the medical record and maintains patient charts.
