Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a clinic setting. You will assist with exams, administer medications, collect labs, and document care in the medical record, while supporting clinic operations and quality improvement efforts.
The role requires Wisconsin LPN licensure; CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire; 32-hour weekly days. Prior clinical experience preferred. This position offers competitive pay and benefits through Mercyhealth.
This role provides direct patient care by preparing patients for visits, assisting with exams and treatments, administering medications, collecting lab samples, and documenting care in the medical record. It also supports clinic operations by coordinating referrals, educating patients, maintaining supplies, assisting with quality improvement projects, and ensuring care follows clinic policies and nursing standards.
32-hours a week SHIFT: Days
Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing. Illinois: Have completed the designated curriculum of a Ladder Option Approved Designated RN Program. Experience in clinical setting preferred.
Licensed as an LPN in the State of Practice Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Work is performed according to specific procedures and methods, but the incumbent must make minor decisions in order to adapt to routine situations.
