Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced LPNs for Per Diem roles in Hampton Roads, VA. Competitively paid at $37-$39/hour with per diem pay and weekly payroll. Flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators ensure support across shifts.

Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, patient education, and coordination with the care team. Active LPN license and 1 year facility-based experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
