Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads.

As an LPN you will provide nursing care, administer medications, collect and document patient information, and educate patients on wounds and care plans. You will monitor patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and coordinate care with nurses and physicians. Per diem role with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.

Requirements

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
