Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide compassionate nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate care with the nursing team.

Local applicants only. We offer same-day or next-day pay, weekly payroll, and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance for peri- diem travel and local assignments.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
