Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living Facility

Wage up to $34/hr, based on experience

Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for assigned residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care involves coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s/patient’s plan of care. The LPN/LVN adheres to care standards, manages the environment to ensure safety, supervises nursing assistants, and follows all policies and procedures as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience
  • Licensed in the State as an LPN
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements imposed by law
  • Effective, positive communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with aptitude to learn company applications
