Job Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, perform as a licensed caregiver, assuming responsibility and accountability for assigned residents/patients during your shift.
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the resident’s/patient’s plan of care.
• Adhere to standards of care, manage the environment to maintain safety, and supervise nursing assistants.
• Follow all policies and procedures, and perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with an aptitude to learn company applications
