Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, the LPN performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for the care of residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plan, managing the environment to ensure safety, supervising nursing assistants, and adhering to all policies and procedures as per the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with an aptitude to learn company applications
