Job summary

Delaware Valley Residential Care in Bucks County is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist our program participants with medical needs on campus.

Responsibilities include dispensing and overseeing medication management, assisting therapists with behavior management, reviewing MARs, communicating with physicians, documenting care information, and participating in direct resident care when needed.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Willing to travel with medical cart to each resident apartment on campus.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain timeliness.

• Assist Cognitive and Behavioral Therapists in behavior management of residents as needed.
• Review Medication Administration Records.
• Communicate daily or as needed with physicians and healthcare providers.

• Assess and evaluate resident issues and medical concerns.
• Document all pertinent resident medical/care information.
• Participate in direct care of residents when needed.

• Must be able to weather the elements, as LPN will travel with the medical cart outside to each resident apartment on campus
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations
• Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
