Job summary

Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist our Program Participants with medical needs and concerns. The role focuses on compassionate, on-campus care and collaboration with the Healthcare Coordinator.

The nurse will dispense and oversee medication management, support therapists, review records, and communicate with physicians to ensure timely, accurate care for residents. The position requires PA LPN licensure and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN License is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Must be able to weather elements traveling with medical cart to each resident apartment on campus.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for team members and participants.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense, high-pressure situations.
• Proven track record of timeliness and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and oversee medication management with oversight from Healthcare Coordinator.
• Assist Therapists in behavior management of residents as needed.
• Review Medication Administration records.
• Communicate daily or as needed with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Assist Healthcare Coordinator with monitoring chart accuracy and completion.
• Assess and evaluate resident issues and medical concerns.
• Document all pertinent resident medical/care information.
• Participate in direct care of residents when needed.
