The Grand Residence at Upper St. Clair is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM shift.

The ideal candidate holds a valid LPN license and genuinely wants to support elderly residents in a caring, family atmosphere. Responsibilities include medication administration and documentation, responding to changes in condition, and ensuring residents’ well-being in accordance with regulations.

Licensed Practical Nurse is a FT or PT position for the 3:00PM - 11:30PM shift. The ideal candidate for this positionis required to possess alicense and a genuine desire to work with the elderly.We are afamily atmosphere with a team of caring professionals. This position is the Nurse on Duty during this shift. They are responsible for medication administration/documentation, responding to incidents/ changes in condition, any doctor prescribed treatment, and the overall well-being of our residents.Previous experience is preferred, but not required. The candidate should be caring, organized, motivated, responsible and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality regarding resident information
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Provides nursing care following established nursing service objectives and standards
• Ensures that all safety and infection control practices are followed
• Distributes and documents medications according to established standards and regulations
• Responds to emergency situations
• Communicates with guests and families regarding treatment and care
