Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring LPNs for the Day Shift in our Baton Rouge facility. You will provide quality medical care throughout admission, treatment and discharge, coordinate pharmacy needs, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure coordinated care.

You will maintain logs and document patient progress while educating patients in individual and group settings. We seek licensed practical nurses with strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate approach that

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
