Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring LPNs for the Day Shift to support a full continuum of care at our Baton Rouge facility.

In this role you will deliver high-quality nursing care, coordinate medication needs, document meticulously, and collaborate with medical and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire LPNs for the Day Shift at our facility in Baton Rouge, LA!

What You'll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge


• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs


• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care


• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school


• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
