Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support an LPN clinic, assisting physicians, nurses and staff with daily patient care and coordination of appointments, tests and referrals. You will help manage patient flow and may supervise clinical staff under general supervision.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, fluent English (verbal and written) and computer skills, plus a current Louisiana LPN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
• Current Louisiana State license as LPN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following established standards and practices.
• Assist physician, nurse and staff with daily coordination of patient care and patient access.
• Coordinate patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• May serve as a preceptor for clinical staff.
• Rely on guidelines and some experience/judgment to complete tasks.
• Work under general supervision and may lead others within scope of practice.
