Job summary

Centurion Health in Sumner, IL is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lawrence Correctional Center to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision.

Candidates must hold an IL LPN license or be able to obtain one, have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and be able to obtain security clearance. Shifts include days, evenings and nights, 4 shifts per week.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

We offer shift differentials of $4/hour for evenings and $3/hours for nights. We offer an additional $1/hour on weekends.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Shifts: We're hiring for days, evenings and nights.

The schedule consists of 4 shifts/week (2 - 8 hour, 2 - 12 hour).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required


• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL or ability to obtain one required


• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
