Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse at Apalachee East Correctional Institution in Sneads, FL. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

Requires Florida LPN license and CPR certification; corrections experience is not required. 36 hours/week, days 7AM-7:30PM EST with every-other-weekend rotation; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Florida LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice under supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs for incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to support patient care.

We are currently seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Apalachee Correctional Institution located in Sneads, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days, 7AM-7:30PM EST; every other weekend rotation. 36 hours per week.
