Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Taylor Correctional Institution in Perry, Florida. You will join a dedicated team providing nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

The role requires an active Florida LPN license (or ability to obtain) and CPR certification, with no priorCorrections experience required. Shifts are days, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida LPN license or be able to obtain one.
• CPR certification required at time of hire.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN direction.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within scope of practice.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Taylor Correctional Institution located in Perry, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (for Medical and Mental Health) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days, 6AM-6:30PM; rotating weekends. 36 hours per week.
