Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Indiana State Prison team in Michigan City, IN. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

Ideal candidates hold Indiana LPN license (or able to obtain), CPR certification, and can obtain a security clearance. Shifts are Full-time Nights 7pm–7:30am, three shifts weekly with every other weekend, plus comprehensive benefits and a $7,500 sign-on bonus for

• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists and other clinicians to address physical and behavioral health needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to safety and security procedures.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Indiana State Prison located in Michigan City, Indiana.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
