Job summary

Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New York seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time or part-time shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM. The role covers planning patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications in a caring facility.

Shift differentials are available on weekends and for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts, with extensive new-grad training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• LPN license or recent nursing graduate.
• Experience with routine patient care and nursing duties.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interview patients and record medical history and physical condition.
• Obtain patient vital signs (pulse, BP, temp, respiration).
• Administer medications and injections.
• Perform standard diagnostic procedures (EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, Doppler).

Licensed Practical Nurse FT/PT 3p-11p

Job duties:

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients’ health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Communicates with patients and their families.
• Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.

Shift differentials are available weekends and for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts!

Qualifications:

• LPN license or recent graduate
