Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Okeechobee Correctional Institution in Okeechobee, FL. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing physical and behavioral health needs.

The position features 12-hour day shifts, EOW, and requires an LPN license with CPR certification. Florida salary and benefits are offered to eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Work 12-hour day shifts with weekend availability.
