Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for an adult patient at home who has ALS, with ADLs required on Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. The role offers hourly pay and benefits as part of Maxim’s private duty nursing team.

Qualified candidates are licensed LPNs/LVNs, with current TB or chest x-ray and BLS certification. One year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where you will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
