Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Central Maryland Correctional Facility in Sykesville, MD. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision, handling a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements include a valid LPN license, CPR certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Evening shifts, 16 hours per week, are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address health needs.
