Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Pinckneyville Correctional Center, Pinckneyville, IL 62274. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, with opportunities for growth within a corrections setting.

The role requires an LPN license in Illinois (or ability to obtain one), CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Evening and night differentials apply, with a rotating weekend schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Role Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift

Full-Time Day Evening

Schedule

The schedule includes rotating weekends. Weeks 1 and 3, you will have Wed-Thurs and Sat off. Weeks 2 and 4, you will have Sun-Mon and Sat off. The schedule consists of 4 shifts/week (2- 8 hour, 2 - 12 hour).
