Hourly Salary: $36.23+/hour (plus $4/hour differential on evenings and $3/hour differential on nights)

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of RN and medical/psychiatric staff, and responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one
• Active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check

Shift Schedule

The schedule includes rotating weekends. Weeks 1 and 3 have Wed–Thurs and Sat off; Weeks 2 and 4 have Sun–Mon and Sat off. The schedule consists of 4 shifts per week (2 × 8 hour and 2 × 12 hour).
