Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Youth Justice Center in Memphis, TN. You will provide hands-on care under RNs and medical staff, administer medications, monitor patients, and participate in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in state of practice
• 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred)
• Active CPR certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
