Job summary

Harry Meyering Center, Inc. in Mankato, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time daytime role. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no nights or on-call, and no weekends, offering a stable daytime shift.

You will provide in-home nursing care to adults with disabilities, administer medications, and support direct care staff, while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with physicians and teams. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check.
• Ability to pass the Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community, in a respectful, person-centered way.
• Administer medications and treatments according to each person’s care plan, and track and report any medication errors.
• Train and coach direct support staff on medication administration, CPR, and recognizing signs of illness.
• Keep medical records complete, accurate, and current.
• Communicate with physicians and other providers to relay updates, request orders, and get clarification when needed.
• Step in for hands-on direct care when needed, including help with daily activities, home tasks, and medication administration.

No nights. No weekends. No on‑call. $27–$30/hour based on experience, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This fixed daytime schedule is rare in home care nursing. Support adults with disabilities living in their own homes throughout the Mankato area as an LPN with Harry Meyering Center.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need
