Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at North Central Regional Jail in Greenwood, WV. The LPN will work under RNs and medical providers to deliver care to justice-involved patients in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, wound care, and supporting care planning. The position offers a weekend option with premium differential and part-time shifts (one shift per week).

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• 1-2 years nursing experience; correctional experience preferred.
• CPR certification and strong clinical/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Support documentation and care planning.
• Promote hygiene, sanitation and a safe environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team.

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

What You'll Need

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
