Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is hiring an LPN to provide compassionate nursing care within a continuing care retirement community in Glen Mills, PA. The role includes building strong resident relationships, assessing clinical needs, and updating care plans while leading care associates and administering medications per orders.

Compensation ranges from $32.00 to $40.00 per hour with evening and night differentials and a $3,000 sign-on for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, focusing on resident-first care.
• Assess, observe, and evaluate residents' clinical condition; document findings in the EMR and notify the provider when necessary.
• Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties promptly and professionally.
• Participate in reviews of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RN clinical leader.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
