Job summary

iHireNursing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support a 21-year-old female client in Douglasville, GA with IDD and a seizure disorder. This overnight and weekend homecare position requires independent clinical judgment and reliable transportation.

You will monitor overnight, observe seizures, administer morning medications, assist with ADLs and school preparation, and maintain timely documentation.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Overnight & Weekend Homecare Shifts

Client: 21yearold female with IDD and seizure disorder

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with strong homecare experience to support a 21yearold female with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and a seizure disorder. Pediatric experience is a plus, as the nurse will assist with morning routines and school preparation.

This role requires excellent clinical judgment, consistency, and comfort working independently in a home setting.

Available Shifts

Sunday–Thursday: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Multiple nurses will be hired to cover the schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

Overnight monitoring and safety supervision

Seizure observation and prompt reporting/intervention per care plan

Morning medication administration

Assist client with morning ADLs and preparation for school

Maintain accurate, timely documentation

Communicate changes in condition to supervising RN and care team

Follow all agency policies, seizure protocols, and emergency procedures

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Georgia LPN license

Experience in homecare required

Pediatric experience strongly preferred

Familiarity with seizure management and IDD support

Reliable transportation

Strong communication, professionalism, and independent clinical decisionmaking
