Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our 7PM-7:30AM nursing staff. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have LPN licensure in Georgia, BLS, and good communication and teamwork skills. One year of LPN experience is preferred, with optional specialty certifications depending on unit assignment.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
According to the National Association of Practical & Licensed Vocational Nurses (NALPN), “Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses are a specialized field who represent the entry into the nursing practice profession”. LPNs practice in diverse clinical settings that include different healthcare professionals who work collaboratively as a team. This collaborative team works to “improve a patient’s function and to protect the health and safety of the patients”. LPNs are part of the Licensed Practical Nurse – Nursing Excellence Track Program (L-NEXT) at Northside Hospital and have the opportunity for career advancement opportunities through expansion of knowledge, expertise through both academic/continuing education, and specialty certification.
