Community Care Physicians in Albany seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Albany Family Medicine. The position is a 40-hour week from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a pay range of $26.00–$33.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or related patient care role.
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate.
• Obtain specimens (e.g., urine, blood) as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders accurately into the lab system.
• Assist with procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medications, immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions and discuss test results with patients as instructed.

Our Albany Family Medicineis looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team!

This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: 8:00am - 4:30pm

**This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!**

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
