Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Wabash Valley Correctional Center in Carlisle, Indiana. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and medical staff to incarcerated patients.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, an LPN license or the ability to obtain one, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Shifts include full-time days, full-time nights, and PRN.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff to respond to health needs.
• Document care and maintain patient records per policy.
• Support a safe and therapeutic healthcare environment.
