Job summary

Centurion Health at Wabash Valley Correctional Center in Carlisle, Indiana is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff.

This position offers PRN pay of $28 per hour with shifts including full-time days, full-time nights, and PRN. Centurion provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical/psychiatric staff supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Perform duties within scope of practice and facility policies.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a part- time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Wabash Valley Correctional Center located in Carlisle, Indiana.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
