Job summary

Wexford Health Sources is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse at our Yavapai County Detention Centers in Camp Verde, AZ. This full-time role supports a vulnerable patient population under supervision of RNs, delivering hands-on nursing care and participating in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs, wound care, and documentation. The position requires an active LPN license, CPR, and 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in corrections,

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
• Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.

SCHEDULE: Full-Time Sun -Tues 12PM - 10 PM

FACILITY: Yavapai County Detention Centers

LOCATION: Camp Verde, AZ

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
