Under the supervision of the RN, you will monitor vital signs, administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with activities of daily living to support safe, quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program, hold current LPN/LVN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current state LPN/LVN licensure required.
• BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• De-escalation training as required by facility policy.
• Minimum of six months of medical/surgical experience preferred.

• Provides patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Participates in staff training, competency assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Responds to emergencies and assists in patient stabilization as directed.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical/Surgical provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living. The LPN ensures patient safety, adherence to care plans, and optimal outcomes in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program required
