Job summary

Superior Electrical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking Licensed Journeyman Plumbers to join our Hawaii team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Hawaii journeyman plumbing license and have a minimum of four years of recent commercial plumbing experience in new construction or tenant improvement projects.

A company vehicle and fuel card are provided for travel between jobsites. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with overtime opportunities and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii journeyman plumbing license.
• Minimum of four years of recent commercial plumbing experience.
• Experience in new construction or tenant improvements.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Verbal and written English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Demo and replace plumbing piping, including PVC, ABS, cast iron (no-hub), and/or copper
• Mount new fixtures and trim according to manufacturer specifications and applicable municipal codes
• Install and repair grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste systems, water systems, and utilities within a commercial retail environment
• Complete light construction repairs or installations on concrete, asphalt, drywall, tile and trim
• Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites, including digging trenches and setting braces
• Properly use equipment such as jackhammers and saw cutters
• Read and layout work from blueprints, plans, and isometric drawings
• Work in accordance with current OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
• Drive company issued vehicles in accordance with company policies
• Accurately record commute and travel time; paid drive time may apply
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
• Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience

We provide commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels, supported by 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance programs.

We are seeking Licensed Journeyman Plumbers to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Hawaii journeyman plumbing license and have a minimum of four years of recent commercial plumbing experience in new construction or tenant improvement projects. A company vehicle and fuel card are provided for business use, including travel between jobsites.

Schedule

• Sunday to Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

• Work in accordance with current OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
• Drive company issued vehicles in accordance with company policies
• Accurately record commute and travel time as required. Technicians may be eligible for paid drive time upon meeting qualification requirements
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
• Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience

Requirements

• Current journeyman plumbing license issued by the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA)
• Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
