Job summary

Coastal MD on Long Island seeks a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a rapidly expanding Integrative Health & Wellness practice. You will build strong patient/provider relationships while performing weight loss management, hormone replacement therapy, holistic pain management, peptide therapy, IV hydration and aesthetics at our Melville, Bohemia and Riverhead offices.

The role requires hands-on experience in integrative medicine, solid anatomy knowledge and safe injection

Qualifications

• Licensed PA/NP in NY required.
• Hands-on experience in integrative medicine preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and safe injection techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluations and consultations.
• Trigger point injections and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Hormone Replacement Therapy consultations and management.
• Weight loss management.
• Perform IV insertions and write progress/procedure notes.
• Follow up with patients.

Job description

Seeking an ambitious Physician Assistant that is looking to be a part of a rapidly expanding Integrative Health & Wellness practice on Long Island. Candidates must be interested in building strong patient/provider relationships while performing several different modalities of the practice. These include weight loss management, hormone replacement therapy management, holistic pain management, peptide therapy management, IV hydration and Aesthetics. Candidates are expected to practice at our current offices in Melville, Bohemia and Riverhead. As well as any future offices that will be opened. Hours include Monday-Saturday with two Saturday shifts required/month.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
• Proven hands-on experience in integrative medicine
• Strong understanding of anatomy, assessment, and safe injection techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills.
• Self-motivated, professional, and committed to continuous learning and growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Patient evaluations & consultations
• Trigger Point Injection therapy
• Ability to use Ultrasound guidance
• Hormone Replacement Therapy consultations and management
• Weight loss management
• Perform IV insertion
• Write Progress Note/Procedure notes for encounters
• Patient follow up

Qualifications and Skills

Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program

Previous experience with Trigger point therapy, hormone replacement therapy management, weight loss management, preferred but willing to train employees.

Aesthetics experience is not a requirement however is favorable.

Ability to learn EHR

Outgoing and compassionate personality

Flexibility to adapt to different clinical situations as well as scheduling.
