Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Preferred one year as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant.
• Current PTA license with active, good standing status.
• BLS certification (must obtain within 90 days of start).

Responsibilities

• Self-assesses and seeks ongoing professional development, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Utilizes logical reasoning to identify problems, analyze data, and develop solutions.
• Supports student training, completes assessments, and fosters team relationships.
• Collects data, assists in patient evaluations, and monitors progress during therapy sessions.
• Prepares documentation, aids in discharge planning, and promotes evidence-based practices.
• Performs assigned duties as needed, contributing to patient care and departmental activities.
