Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering care within our hospital setting. You will perform delegated PT procedures, adjust treatments as patient status changes, and help ensure safety and comfort for all patients.

You will document patient progress, address age-specific needs, provide guidance to the PT aide, coordinate workload, and uphold respect and dignity for patients and families while contributing to Mercy's

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or equivalent program.
• Current license in the state of practice or a state-authorized temporary permit/license.
• Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy procedures.
• Perform delegated PT procedures and adjust plan per patient status.
• Document patient progress notes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort per policy.
